Laami Terms of Use 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Laami, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Services Provided

Laami enables users to connect business data sources and interact with AI to retrieve insights, summarize documents, and automate knowledge workflows.

This includes the ability to:

  • Connect third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Notion, HubSpot) via OAuth

  • Extract and index content from these sources

  • Interact with AI through chat-based or search interfaces

  • Use tokens to consume platform capabilities

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Securing your login credentials

  • Ensuring integrations use authorized accounts

  • Compliance with any third-party service’s terms

4. Subscription & Tokens

Laami uses a token-based pricing system. You agree:

  • To pay subscription fees based on your chosen tier

  • That exceeding token limits may restrict access until renewal or top-up

  • That token consumption rates are documented and may vary by action (e.g., chat queries, document indexing)

5. User Content

You retain ownership of your data. By using Laami, you grant us permission to process your content solely for providing Services.

When connecting accounts, you confirm that:

  • You own or have legal access to the data

  • You authorize Laami to process, index, and embed this data for internal use

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Laami to violate laws or third-party rights

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our software

  • Upload malicious code or unauthorized data

  • Abuse connector integrations to access unauthorized systems

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You breach these Terms

  • Your payment fails

  • You misuse the platform or integrations

8. Third-Party Services

Laami integrates with external services (e.g., Google Drive, Notion, Microsoft 365, HubSpot). You are responsible for reviewing and complying with their respective terms.

Revoking permissions to these services will stop syncing. Laami is not liable for third-party service changes or outages.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, UK.
